The electronic ‘Accord Card’ is a revolutionary citizen card available to all Aberdeen residents, allowing them to access a number of local services simply by producing their card. It can be used for library and leisure services, on local public transport and has recently been introduced in local schools as a way of purchasing school dinners. The ‘Accord Card’ has been praised for its achievements within schools as it restricts the number of times a pupil can purchase convenience or processed foods and awards bonus points to those who choose healthy meals including fresh fruit, fish and vegetables.
The ‘Accord Card’ vans will promote awareness of the card throughout the City of Aberdeen. The striking signage that was produced by Passell has ensured that the vans are easily recognisable, and an effective marketing tool.
Director of Passell, Alex Watt, said "This was a great project for us to be involved in and we are very pleased with the final result. The full colour graphics on the vans will definitely help to promote the ‘Accord Card’ scheme throughout the North East."
